The weekly feature series named Kenya Women Series pubished by Swala Nyeti has bagged a prestigious international award.
The series curated by Patience Nyange; a member of the Media Council of Kenya board, writer, editor and gubernatorial aspirant for Taita Taveta County alongside communication professional Esther Kiragu, has bagged The Voice Achievers Award.
The Voice Achievers Award happens to be one of the grandest African social events in Central Europe, focused on recognizing efforts by Africans and those of friends of Africa who have made a positive impact on the lives of other Africans by means of their influence and activities.
The series, which highlights Kenyan women breaking the glass ceiling, becoming great achievers and inspirations in various professions, has been selected for the African Community Figure/Initiative award.
The ceremony will be held on September 19, 2021 at the Intercontinental Festival City Hoted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and is sponsored by KPMG Lower Gulf, Dubai.

This is going to be the first time the ceremony is held in the Asian Continent.
This year's theme is “Bridging Economies UAE & Africa”.
Patience was selected alongside two other Kenyans namely Kalonzo Musyoka, Wiper Party leader and former Vice President, for the Icon of Democracy Award, and Dr Maxwel Otieno Okoth for the African Motivational Award.
