Bishop David Muriithi of House of Grace has confirmed that indeed he sired a son with the woman who sued him for child support.
The man of God also accepted responsibility and agreed to pay Sh10,000 only on a monthly basis as upkeep for his child.
The bishop claimed that was all he could afford to produce, as he is poor and depends on well-wishers to survive.
He also said he would take the largest share of the maintenance of his son.
“I make a commitment herein bearing in mind my limited means and family responsibilities which I am obliged to meet, as well as the fact that the minor’s education will take the largest share of his maintenance,” he said.

However, the bishop claimed that the woman hid the pregnancy away from him.
Judy Mutave Muasya, the woman who sued the renowned televangelist, was seeking Sh100,000 monthly in allowances from the bishop for child maintenance allowance.
Three weeks ago, the woman claimed her life and that of her son was in danger after a black Mercedes Benz was spotted in her compound. The occupants of the vehicle were unknown.
She also alleged the unknown people knocked severally bun no one opened for them.
