Blogger Robert Alai was charged in a Kibera Court with causing grievous harm to the controversial and self-proclaimed chairman of the gospel artists Alex Apoko alias Ringtone on Monday.
He was also charged with another count of damaging the window of Ringtone's Range Rover that is valued at Sh416,000.
Alai appeared before Kibera Senior Chief Magistrate Philip Mutua where he denied the charges and was released on a Sh1 million bond or a cash bail of Sh300,000.
The court, however, cautioned the blogger against commenting on the case on social media either directly or indirectly.
Plaintiff's lawyer, Evans Ondieki had lodged a complaint that the defence lawyer Abraham Mutai had commented on the case.
