Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi who was also termed the Turk's arrest as political and reiterated his stand that he was not a terrorist.
Immigration officials who handed him over to the anti-terror police for further interrogation arrested Aydin last Saturday upon arrival from Uganda.
He was detained and arraigned in court on Monday morning to answer charges related to alleged links to terrorism financing.
DP Ruto and leaders from his camp have denied the reports linking Aydin to any terrorist activities but gave conflicting statements while at it.
Sudi said Aydin is an investor with an interest in modern fruit farming while the DP said he helped Aydin secure a Sh15 billion loan from Equity bank.
The loan was to be used to set up a COVID-19 vaccines plant in Uganda.
Ahmednasir vowed to fight Aydin’s deportation and promised he would be back in the country before the end of this year or 2022.
“We will fight his deportation and he will come back either this year or next year,” Ahmednasir said.
