Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has advised President Uhuru Kenyatta to crack the whip on rogue party members affiliated to UDA.

The showy and outspoken lawyer took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on how the president should operate after UDA’s Njuguna Wanjiku was declared the winner in the Kiambaa mini poll on Friday despite protestations by Jubilee Party. 

Kipkorir urged Uhuru to change his leadership approaches and adopt the ruthless nature of a leader just like his father President Jomo Kenyatta.

In his advice, he asked the president to fire all State House top officials, half the Cabinet and permanent secretaries, and expel all UDA supporters in the Jubilee Party.

He also urged the president to declare Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga as his successor ahead of the 2022 general election.

The lawyer reminded the Head of State that people love strong man rule and walk away from weak and prevaricating ones.

Kipkorir’s advice was elicited by the outcome of the recently concluded Kiambaa parliamentary by-election. 

UDA, the party linked to deputy president William Ruto, fielded a candidate against Uhuru’s Jubilee in his political bedrock without resigning from the ruling party. 

Kipkorir, a Corporate and Commercial lawyer, is known to be a strong supporter of Uhuru and Raila and also a strong critic of Ruto.
