Senior counsel John Khaminwa has claimed that he had received threats to his life from unknown individuals.
Khaminwa, who represents the respondents in the appeal against the nulification of the BBI process, claims the threats are related to the powerful submission he gave in the Court of Appeal on Friday.
The senior counsel invited the press to his office to confirm the news that had gone viral across social media about the alleged threats to his life.
Khaminwa claims he got a visit from two gentlemen who identified themselves as officers from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
However, EACC has since denied that it sent any of its detectives to Khaminwa's residence in Nairobi.

The veteran lawyer claimed the two men demanded money from his assistant after the raid.
Khaminwa claims his submissions at the appelate court on Friday could be responsible for the visit saying he offended some top ranking officials.
He, however, vowed to soldier on with the case undeterred even as he failed to provide sufficient evidence to back his controversial allegations.
