NCBA brought potential homeowners face-to-face with some of Kenya’s most sought-after real estate this past weekend during a carefully curated property bus tour spanning the coastline from Nyali to Vipingo.

The one-day tour offered a hands-on experience through a selection of upscale residential developments, including Classic Courtyard Homes, Parklane Tower, and Radium Residence in Nyali, as well as Pazuri@Vipingo by Superior Homes and 1255 Palm Ridge by Centum Real Estate.

On board were prospective homeowners, investors, and mortgage hopefuls, all seeking clarity and confidence in the journey toward owning property.

NCBA Acting Group Director for Retail Banking, Dennis Njau, described the event as a deliberate and strategic effort to bring people closer to the reality of homeownership.

He explained, “This tour is a step in the right direction in making property ownership more accessible. As NCBA, we are proud to link customers and developers in such a purposeful and interactive way.”

Beyond the physical tour, the initiative was part of a larger effort to tackle long-standing challenges in Kenya’s real estate market.

These include fragmented information, scepticism around financing, and limited access to reputable developers.

“This is not just about viewing properties; it is empowering people with knowledge, connecting them with real opportunities and showing them that with the right partner, home ownership is within reach," Njau remarked further.

The tour underscored NCBA’s shift towards providing immersive customer experiences, extending far beyond conventional banking halls and loan paperwork.

Attendees were allowed not only to view the properties but also to speak directly with developers and real estate professionals, in what the bank has positioned as a holistic and informative engagement.

One participant summed up the impact of the day by stating, “Taking part in this tour and seeing the properties in person really opened my eyes to what is possible. I am confident about taking the next to owning my dream home.”

With the rise in demand for affordable yet quality housing, NCBA is tapping into a growing appetite for structured, transparent and trustworthy homebuying journeys.

The bank confirmed it plans to host more tours and learning engagements as it continues to broaden its role in property financing.

By bridging the gap between potential buyers and real estate opportunities, NCBA is reshaping the narrative of homeownership in Kenya, not just through loans, but through lived experiences.
