King Mswati has allegedly fled eSwatini amid violent pro-democracy protest that swept across the small Kingdom.
Police have been forced to use lethal force against agitated protesters in an attempt to disperse them.
The protesters are calling for political reforms in the country that banned political parties since 1973.
They wish to do away with the monarchy that they blame for years of oppression and dictatorship.

The protesters reportedly said that they wanted multi-party democracy and be able to elect their own Prime Minister.
Trouble escalated when the government banned protests and warned that any breach of the ban would be met with lethal force.
King Mswati III has been under fire for his lavish lifestyle, human rights violations at the expense of the poor masses.
The polygamist king has at least 15 wives and 23 children.
The country has been under the rule of King Mswati since 1986 when he was crowned King after his 18th birthday.
He was selected to be King at the tender age of 14.
