One person has died after the luxury vehicle he was driving rammed a lorry on the Southern Bypass in Nairobi early Thursday morning.
Police say the driver of the BMW X5 died on the spot after he rammed his vehicle into the underride of the cargo-carrying lorry that was being driven on the fast lane.
Photos of the badly damaged car started circulating on social media on Thursday morning as some blamed the BMW driver for speeding while others faulted the lorry driver for using the outer lane without lights and hazard on.

Let me say this: Corruption killed my friend. If the truck had put up road signs ???? indicating the breakdown, he would be alive. If the police had not been bribed to look the other way, he would be alive.

So many times, I have said here that any vehicle that is driving below 120KPH shouldn’t use the outside lane .. The outside lane is only for cars like those we drive! And it is the law ... Why do Traffic Police allow this violation? People should drive & keep their lanes in life. pic.twitter.com/YduP20c5Yd
