Bonchari Member of Parliament Oroo Oyioka is dead.
Oyioka died on Monday evening following a long illness.
According to his family, the MP died after suffering a stroke at Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu where he had been admitted for more than a month.
Oyioka was elected to Parliament in 2017 and was serving his first term on a PDP party ticket.
Kisii Governor James Ongwae has mourned the MP as a selfless and talented leader.
