The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) now says ‘chipo mwitu’ girl or otherwise known as Bevalyne Kwamboka is operating an illegal business.

This came after a member of the public asked KURA through their official Twitter account if the activates that Kwamboka engages in are legal.

KURA responded via the same platform and said it was illegal and an infringement of pedestrian rights.

The authority also said footbridges and walkways are not meant for any form of business rather for pedestrian passage.

“This is illegal and an infringement to Pedestrian rights, The Footbridges and walkways are meant for Pedestrian passage and not any form of business,” KURA replied.

KURA’s response elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans on Twitter who shared their sentiments about the matter.
