37 students from Ukasi Secondary School in Mwingi, Kitui have tested positive for COVID-19.

Sources say 3 of the students are hospitalized and are receiving treatment at Mwingi Level 4 Hospital.

The other 34 are said to have been quarantined within the school.

This is the latest learning institution where COVID-19 cases have been reported.

Arnesen's Boys High School in Ainabkoi, Uasin Gishu was closed following the death of one student who was suspected to have succumbed to the deadly virus.
