Safaricom Foundation has launched Phase 7 of Ndoto Zetu in an effort to deepen its promise to support health, education, and economic dreams in every county in Kenya.

The Foundation will invest Sh100 million in this latest phase, increasing its total commitment to more than Sh600 million since 2019.

More than one million Kenyans are expected to benefit from sustainable projects in health, education, and economic empowerment.

This money has been used to deliver thousands of grassroots projects, turning simple dreams into life-changing solutions.

The launch took place at Eldoret Special School in Uasin Gishu County with Safaricom

Foundation donating knitting machines and materials to support the school’s vocational unit.

These tools will enable the students to make and sell handcrafted items, empowering them with skills and financial independence.

“With Ndoto Zetu, we are inspired by everyday Kenyans who dare to dream not just for themselves, but for their communities,” said Safaricom CEO Dr Peter Ndegwa.

Ndegwa added: “As we launch Phase 7, we are walking this journey with you, because when your dream lifts others, it becomes our dream too.”

Since 2019, Ndoto Zetu has delivered more than 1,820 projects, touching more than 3 million lives across the country.

Last year alone, Safaricom Foundation completed 400 projects; 294 in education, 52 in health, and 54 in economic empowerment.

From classrooms and maternity beds to tools for women groups, Ndoto Zetu is helping Kenyans solve the problems closest to home.

In the Rift Valley, M-PESA Foundation also unveiled the Wezesha Mama Programme in collaboration with Hand-in-Hand to equip women groups with training, resources, and funding to start and grow sustainable businesses.

The programme is part of a broader mission to uplift women economically and spark generational impact through financial inclusion.

Kenyans who have a community dream can apply for Ndoto Zetu by filling out forms at any Safaricom Shop or online at safaricomfoundation.org/ndotozetu.

Safaricom Foundation will reach out to successful applicants through 0722 000 000.
