Media personality and KTN News anchor Akisa Wandera has revealed that she tested positive for Covid-19 a fortnight ago.
Akisa on Monday announced on her social media pages that she has been battling Coronavirus away from the limelight but revealed that she is on her path to full recovery.
The KTN news presenter, 28, narrated how the past two weeks have been hell for her but she was fighting to get better.
Akisa, who joined KTN in 2013 after launching her media career at Ebru TV fresh from college, appealed to Kenyans to wear face masks and observe all Covid-19 protocols to tame the virus.
“Daily reminder to wear your mask and take all necessary precautions. That virus has shown me terrible things these past two weeks... But thank God we're almost fully recovered’ she posted.
