Bongo flava musician Benard Michael Paul Mnyang'anga aka Ben Pol has made a public apology to his wealthy ex-wife Anerlisa Muigai for the beans he spilt about their estranged marriage in interviews he had with Tanzanian personality Millard Ayo.

Pol took to his social media to issue the apology that came about two years after they divorced the Keroche heiress.

He maintains he never meant to hurt Anerlisa but only wanted to share his experience of marriage that affected his mental health.

“I want to apologize for the things I said about my marriage during my series of interviews with Millard Ayo, which started broadcasting on the 13th of January, 2023,” Pole wrote.

“My intention was never to hurt but to share my experience of the marriage, an experience I take full responsibility for. I also wanted to articulate how it affected my mental health.”

In his apology, the ‘Moyo Machine’ hit maker acknowledged the damage his words may have caused his ex-wife Anerlisa.

“However, I recognize that my words were hurtful to my ex-wife and I apologize to her and to the public,” Pol said.

Nevertheless, Pol said he would continue talking about mental health and his experiences albeit cautiously.

“While I do want to continue to talk about mental health and speak about my experiences, I will strive to do so in a way that is more mindful and more constructive,” he said.

In April 2021, Pol announced their divorce after rumours circulated they had split.
