The Associated Press (AP), which is based in the United States, has appointed multi-talented Kenyan journalist Evelyne Musambi to be its new reporter for the East African region.

AP Media Relations Manager Nicole Meir says the appointment of Musambi was announced by the AP Deputy News Director for Africa Andrew Drake in a memo to staff on Wednesday.
