The Kenyan film industry has lost one of the most promising actors in the country with the sudden death of Wilfred Olwenya Maina.
Maina who is prominently featured in such movies as Taliya, Nairobi Half-Life, Stories Of Our Lives, Poacher and Pendo is said to have collapsed and died on Monday evening.
Olwenya was rushed to Nairobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of Olwenya’s death is however yet to be established.
Apart from his acting roles, Olwenya was also a voice-over artist who worked with various radio stations.
Several Kenyans have taken to their social media handles to mourn the loss of Olwenya.
