Kenya is recognised among the world’s top tourist destinations with visitors coming from all over the world to enjoy the flora and fauna it offers.

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) striker Emmanual Mauro Icardi is in the country with his wife Wanda Narra.

It was a good choice Icardi made to cool off for the holiday at the end of a gruelling season.

According to his Instagram post, the PSG striker and his wife checked into the Giraffe Manor in Nairobi.

The professional footballer shared beautiful photographs of him and his wife enjoying their breakfast at the Giraffe Manor.

He also shared a brief but interesting story he learnt about the establishment and how it was started.

“Giraffe Manor: Today we were able to enjoy another beautiful story among animals, a story which this ‘house’ called Giraffe Manor hides since the 70s and 80s, where the Rothschild Giraffe was endangered in Kenya with only a few hundred the species. Icardi wrote.

“In this ‘house’ they did everything possible to live with them and made the giraffes feel like they are in their habitat and be able to meet all their needs and help this species to multiply more and more. A unique and unforgettable experience,”

The footballer and his wife seem to have chosen our African continent as their destination for the holiday.

Before arriving in Kenya, the couple visited Rwanda where they visited the volcanic mountains to see the silverback gorillas.

Icardi was part of the PSG team that won the Ligue One title however, his team lost to Champion League Champions Real Madri in the round of 16.

Icardi is on holiday as he was not selected into the Argentine squad that beat Italy 3-0 on Wednesday night.
