Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) boss Ezekiel Mutua has asked the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to arrest comedian Eric Omondi over his ‘Wife Material’ show on Youtube.

Mutua has termed as a brothel Omondi’s newly opened film studios in plush Lavington neighbourhood in Nairobi County.

He criticized the comedian for allegedly taking advantage of girls at his studios during filming of the show in which Omondi selects a spouse from ten women shortlisted to feature in the show.

“So there's Corona but this **** has been kissing multiple girls and recording these videos in the name of comedy. Another morally bankrupt socialite is recording more videos teaching these young girls how to have sex with Omondi in the devilish mentorship program known as "Mombasa Raha," he posted on Facebook.

The KFCB CEO wondered why women’s groups and police have not taken any action against the award-winning comedian over the content of the controversial show.

“The fact that women rights groups are quiet when this is happening and the police have not arrested the perpetrators of these obvious crimes is evidence of how low we have sunk as a society,” he added.

Mutua now wants DCI to shut down the facility in Lavington for allegedly corrupting Kenyans.

“By the time we get tired and stop condoning this nonsense the damage will be too bad to repair. The DCI should immediately move into that brothel in Lavington and arrest the criminals doing these things to our girls in the name of art!”

The Wife Material show ended on Wednesday with Omondi choosing Carol of Band Beca as his ‘wife to be’, even as many Kenyans cast doubt on whether the comedian is serious in his quest or the show was just a marketing platform for many brands.

So there's Corona but this fool has been kissing multiple girls and recording these videos in the name of comedy....
