Tanzanian Bongo star Ali Kiba and his wife Amina Khalef are alleged to have ended their marriage.
Amina is said to have filed for divorce at the Mombasa Kadhi Court after three years of matrimony.
Kiba’s wife cited alleged neglect and stress as her reasons for her seeking the dissolution of the marriage.
Amina claimed the environment at their home was not conducive for her mental state when she became pregnant.
According to Amina, the musician failed to address her concerns, which were getting worse by the day.

Amina said there was constant bickering between herself and Kiba’s friends and relatives who also lived with them in the same home.
Kiba was also accused of failing to provide for their child who was born in June 2019.
According to an affidavit Amina signed, Kiba went as far as failing to foot her hospital bill when she went to deliver their child, forcing her to pay from her own pocket.
"Kiba even failed to clear my hospital bill for the birth of our child and left the same to be shouldered by me,” the affidavit read.
Amina now demands Sh200,000 from the musician in child support and medical insurance for his children.
Kiba was given 15 days to respond to the case, but the time had lapsed on February 10.
The couple got married in a colourful wedding event that was graced by Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.
