A video of a priest kissing three female students during church service has caused a stir on social media.

In the viral video, the priest, who stood at the pulpit, can be seen pressing his lips on the three ladies one after the other.

Congregants, who watched the shocking moments, shouted in awe seeming to disapprove of the clergyman's actions.

It is reported that the "man of God" is an Anglican priest and the incident happened last Sunday at the St.Monica college of education in Ghana.

“Holy kiss from the priest to students of St.Monica’s college of education. Ghana we dey eih,” Akhwasi Sundhee who shared the video reacted.

A statement issued by the Anglican Church in Ghana said the incident saddened them and reported that further investigations have begun.

“The Church is saddened by the news and wish to state expressly that, thorough investigation has immediately been instituted into the matter and the action of the said Priest would be dealt with in accordance with the norms and values of the Anglican Communion where morality is extremely revered in the Church,” the statement read in part.

To prevent any psychological issues that may arise because of the viral video, the church also said it is making efforts to engage the students concerned through a counselling session.
