Popular musician David Mathenge alias Nameless alongside Trio Mio, Nelly the Goon and Habib will release a brand new tribute song to honour late legendary rapper Issah Mmari E-Sir.
Nameless made the news public via his reality show dubbed This Love where he was chatting with the three and even disclosed that it will be produced by Motif the Don.
While speaking, Nelly revealed he started working on the tribute song years ago considering that E-Sir inspired him so much when he was young.
“I have written this song for like two years. I needed to do this for a legend that has done it for the music. He inspired me so much, he needs to be taken as the legend he is.”
Reiterating on the same, E-sir’s brother Habib said that they have always wanted to work on the song but every time they stepped into the studio they postponed it as they felt it wasn’t as perfect as they want.

“Unajua tumekwama, coz tumetaka kufanya ngoma about E-Sir for so long na huyu msee (Nameless). Kuna time tunakam tunado alafu tunasema hapana haijafika mahali tunataka,” He said.
Wahu on the other hand said she is fine with the idea of releasing a tribute song for E-Sir as he was a great inspiration to many recent singers.
“It is an interesting song because it bigs up E-Sir and I like that idea,” Wahu said.
Legendary singer E-Sir passed away on March 16, 2003, in a grisly road accident while coming back to Nairobi from Nakuru.
He was with singer Nameless who luckily survived a collarbone injury.
