YouTuber Elodie Zone has retracted her confession about facing physical and mental abuse in her relationship with Sol generation signee Nviiri the Storyteller.

The socialite who took to her Instagram page disclosed that she was under the influence of alcohol when making her post, which was later misinterpreted by bloggers.

The Instagram queen who had previously revealed she only met Nviiri at the coast recently opened up that they travelled together with a few of their friends for recreation and peacemaking.

"Nviiri and I came to the coast with our friends to unwind, relax and make peace with each other. When I made my post it was fueled by tension and an afternoon of few too many drinks," she wrote in part.

She further laid blame on for spreading untrue and negative information about her that has adversely affected their careers and family lives.

"Neither one of us thought it would be blown out of proportion the way it has been. Blogging sites and bloggers have also begun to spread misinformation, and this is affecting our careers and family lives"

Elodie also disclosed that she is in good terms with the singer and they are moving forward with full respect.

We are both moving forward with full respect and peace and plan on continuing the year focused on our work lives only. Kindly be considerate of the situation and do not send hate to him or me.

"I'm sorry if this has painted us to be something we aren't. Good content, clothing and music will continue coming from us and our teams," she wrote.

A day ago, the beauty queen confirmed that she had broken up with Nviiri due to frequent abuse in the relationship.

She disclosed that the singer slammed her against the table during a party in a club and left her stranded there.

“Yup. January 1st 2021. There are videos online of him slamming me against a table and leaving me and my baby cousins at a club past curfew. Cross check with my 'life is good' highlight. The first vid.” Elodie said.

Elodie also said that she was warned against speaking out and kept bruises in her heart for long until recently.

“I’ve hidden bruises from my past two relationships. I’ve felt stupid and have been undermined. I’ve kept quiet. I’ve been told to stop speaking up on social media cause I’ll look like I’m 'acting out. I’ve been told that depression means you overact…etc…all are total nonsense. I want men and women in my position to raise their voices! We may be small but our voices cannot be silenced.” She added.

However, a number of Kenyans believe that this is a publicity stunt meant to boost their upcoming project.
