According to TMZ, his family may soon have to make its toughest decision yet, whether to let him to continue fighting for his life and hang onto hope that he regains consciousness or withdraw his life support.
The American tabloid reports that tests performed on DMX on Wednesday showed no sign of improvement in brain activity since his admission on Friday night.
The rapper is reportedly still in a coma and the results are "not good" and his family has asked his close friend and manager Steve Rifkind to fly to New York Friday as hope dwindles.

Meanwhile, his family (children, fiancée and mothers of some of his children), friends and fans have continued to hold vigils outside the hospital praying that his health improves.
Only a controlled number of family members have been permitted to enter the hospital and see DMX in the ICU due to strict Covid-19 restrictions.
The legendary rapper’s fate now lies in the hands of his family members, who had been waiting with bated breath for the “critical” test results before deciding the best way forward.
