Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o has found herself on the bad side of Kenyans on Twitter after she posted a controversial photo in which she shows them the middle finger.

Lupita was targeting Kenyans who have been criticising her for allegedly not being patriotic to Kenya enough and reportedly not sharing enough content about Kenya on social media.

She Oscar Award winning actress, whose father is Kisumu County Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o, showed those constantly questioning her loyalty and patriotism to Kenya.

Lupita has been sharing a lot of exquisite photographs of her trip around the country ever since she landed in the country a fortnight ago for a holiday during the Covid-19 pandemic.

She has dominated headlines for last few months after Tourism CS Najib Balala picked British supermodel Naomi Campbell to be the Magical Kenya international ambassador.

The move attracted the wrath of Kenyans on social media, who argued that the 12 Years A Slave deserved the tourism ambassadorial role even as Balala claimed she was unreachable.

At the time, Lupita shared a photo on social media in which she is laughing sarcastically while mocking the Tourism CS for claiming she had been unreachable for the last 5 years.
