The celebrated award-winning singer Daddy Owen finally launched his 6th album at Kempinski hotel which brought together several artists, celebrities and even politicians to cheer up for his journey in music industry.

Addressing the guest present, his lawyer who also cites as South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro urged Owen to forget the past about his failed marriage, something that left him severely depressed.

“Owen, don’t keep us too long now. We have so many beautiful wives here. We have already accepted what transpired but it is time to pick one. Move on,” he stated.

Owen who is currently single has the last few months opened up about his failed marriage to her long term wife Farida Wambui.

The two lover birds, held their weeding back in 2016 before breaking up in 2020 and share two sons together.

Daddy Owen’s album draws inspiration from his journey as an artiste and minister in the gospel music industry as well as his 40th birthday, which he celebrated earlier this year,

Owen has also partnered with Safaricom to have his songs on its Baze content platform.

He added that the songs in the album are about bringing a message of hope and inspiration.

"The thing about life is that the older you get, the wiser you become, and having spent close to two decades in the gospel music industry, this album is about reflecting how far God has brought me," he said.

So far in his 19th year in gospel industry, Daddy Owen is definitely a force to be reckoned.
