Famed American rapper and Black and Yellow hitmaker Cameron Jibril Thomaz better known as Wiz Khalifa announced he tested positive for COVID-19.

Taking to his Twitter page on July 15, the star announced he will undergo home quarantine for a while.

The star also promised his fans that even though he has contracted the dreadful virus, he will use the time to be creative and release new hits.

He also assured his fans that he is still healthy and doing fine and will keep them updated in case of anything.

“Okay loved ones….sooo…..Ya boy got covid. No symptoms. Just stay away from me for a lil while”

In another tweet, he promised to give his fans more and more music even though he is in quarantine.

“While I'm in the house I’ll be givin y’all new content, planning raves, and readying this new project”

This came days after Tanzania star Diamond Platnumz shared videos and photos while in the studio with the rapper on his social media accounts.

The photos he shared showed him with Khalifa and a few friends inside a studio, leaving fans in amazement.

The interaction between the two big artists has left many of Diamond’s fans in great anticipation of the new song saying it will be a hit.

While on his Instagram account, he captioned the brief clip saying.
