Celebrated gospel DJ Moses Kimathi alias DJ Moz has disclosed that he got a vasectomy years ago.
Appearing at a TV interview, the radio and TV personality disclosed that he reached the decision after a series of discussions with his wife.
According to the deejay, he and the wife agreed it was best for that family planning method after contraceptives started affecting his wife.
“I’m married and I have been for 13 years. The reality is that, the burden of family planning had always been on my wife. I also didn’t enjoy using a condom, not that there is anything wrong with using a condom for contraception
“My wife had been on the pill for the longest time and it was also not good for her and I knew it was affecting her. She and I had this conversation from time to time and we had agreed that it had to stop. We had come to the point where we now had three kids and the cycle had to stop. So vasectomy became an option,” said DJ Moz.

He also revealed that the procedure is safe and has no effect after and advised men to go for it.
“And I’m functioning as normal. Let me say this, I’m glad that at home my wife and I were talking about it and let me encourage all married men out there to have this conversation with their wives,” he added.
This comes after Nick Ndeda who parted ways with his wife of 7 years confirmed he got vasectomy.
According to Ndeda, he got vasectomy willingly and not by being forced by his wife Muthoni Gitau as speculated online .
