The two men, Aron Asiiba and Charles Musyoka behind the popular remark ‘nitakufinya’ have finally spoken out ten years after the shooting of their video which went viral only recently.

The two have been  internet sensations for the better part of June and July after their funny confrontation at an interview shot in 2011 went viral.

While appearing at a recent interview, Musyoka and Asiiba opened up about how they continued relating with each other even after the confrontation in Nairobi’s slum Mukuru Kwa Njenga 

Musyoka revealed that his life changed and lived in fear for his life as he never knew if the threats by Asiiba were real or not.

“Sikufinywa lakini niliishi na wasiwasi Mwaka mzima nikihofia Maisha yangu kwasababu huwezi unajua yule aliyesema hivo kama ako serious.”

Musyoka further took the journalists to his home in the same area and showed how he lives in a humble home which remains unlocked as he says there is nothing important to steal from it.

“I have nothing in the house that someone can steal from me. Will you steal my jerrican, cup or clothes,” he said.

The 25-year-old further complained that his area mates keep disturbing him by asking to take photos together and even others as him for money as they think he is rich after trending online.

Musyoka further stated that life has been worse on his part and has been going through turmoil since he has no job contrary to what he said in the previous interview.

Musyoka further revealed that he lied about his finger being hurt after being electrocuted and confirmed that he got the injury while he was working in a company based in Industrial area.

Asiiba on the other hand, shared about how his life has been in the past 11 years.

Asiiba, who is a husband to two wives and has sired nine children, said he never had any bad intentions and never meant what he said.

Asiiba, who says his family is happy about the viral video, defended himself saying it was just a slip of the tongue.

The energetic man also said that he is shocked about the fact that he is trending but is still broke.

“I am trending yet I have nothing in my pocket man. Right no I have no job,” he stated.

The father added that he has been living without electricity since time of the last interview revealing that KPLC took away all transformers after there were a lot of illegal connections of electricity in the area.
