The former UNCTAD boss and 2022 presidential hopeful Mukhisa Kituyi has finally come out to disclaim and distance himself from his ‘sex tape’ that went viral online.

The former Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has been holding his peace since the video surfaced.

Since he had deactivated his Twitter account, Mukhisa took to his Facebook account On Saturday to issue a statement.

In his statement, he disclaimed the contents of the video and dismissed it as a Photoshop edited video.

“I, therefore, dismiss the photoshopped edited video doing rounds on social media purporting to expose my private parts. It doesn’t in any way whatsoever depict the true representation of my private organs. I want to distance myself from such false and untrue malicious stories destined at killing my political career,” he said in the statement.

Mukhisa laid blame on his political detractors whom he claimed were responsible for producing the video in a bid to impede his ambition to occupy the State House.

He affirmed to his supporters that nothing would stop him from running for the presidency, as he still has a big heart for all.

He urged his supporters to ignore the video purporting to expose him indecently.

The video in question surfaced on Thursday and it showed a male person with an uncanny resemblance to Mukhisa fast asleep, completely naked with an unidentified female in what seemed to be a hotel room.
