The CEO - Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) Dr. Ezekiel Mutua has come out to condemn the actions of gospel artist Christopher Nyangwara Mosioma popularly known as ‘Embarambamba in a video that is trending on social media.

This comes after a video surfaced on social media showing ‘Embarambamba’ dancing with an unidentified female member of the public in a manner that is considered explicit.

The moral cop took to his Twitter account to express his disapproval of Embarambamba’s actions on the trending video

Mutua’s statement elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) with some in agreement with him and others having a different opinion.

In a rejoinder to KOT who expressed a different opinion, Mutua said he only picked issue with the content displayed.

“The issue is not that Embarambamba is a gospel singer doing secular stuff. That's a personal matter. The issue is that the video is explicit and amounts to indecent exposure” said Mutua in the tweet.

The scolded artist also came out and issued a statement through his YouTube account explaining that people took everything out of context and asked them to refer to the title of his song. The artist also defended his position on visiting a nightclub along Thika Road where he claims he was invited for an event.

Embarambamba also apologized to Mutua through his Twitter handle and said he was sorry.

Embarambamba has gained popularity lately for the antics he displays in his eccentric videos and vigorous stunts he pulls in them.
