Safaricom PLC announced scheduled maintenance for its M-Pesa services, set to take place on the morning of Monday from 1 am to 1.30 am.

This maintenance period is part of the company's ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery and customer experience.

"We are constantly enhancing our services to provide our customers with more innovations and a better experience," Safaricom said.

"As part of these ongoing enhancements, we will be carrying out planned system maintenance on the evening of Monday 24th June 2024 from 1 am to 1.30 am."

During this half-hour window, all M-PESA services were unavailable.

However, Safaricom assures its customers that all other services, including calls, data, and SMS, remain fully operational.

"The timing of this maintenance has been planned to result in the least inconvenience to our customers," stated Safaricom, acknowledging the potential disruption.

The company further extended its apologies for any inconvenience caused and expressed gratitude for the customers' patience.

This maintenance is a part of Safaricom's continuous efforts to introduce innovations and improve the overall user experience for its customers.
