In a move set to delight pizza lovers in Kenya, Domino's and Uber Eats have announced a partnership to offer delivery services in Nairobi and Mombasa.

The collaboration, effective Tuesday, expands Domino's reach and strengthens Uber Eats' position as a leading food delivery platform in the country.

Emphasising the significance of the collaboration, the General Manager of Uber Eats Kenya, Kui Mbugua stated that the partnership reflected their commitment to catering to the evolving needs of their users and providing them with a broader selection of culinary options.

Mbugua added that by seamlessly connecting users with popular local businesses like Domino's, their aim was to further solidify their position as the go-to platform for convenient food delivery.

"This partnership reflects our commitment to cater to the evolving needs of our users and offer them a wider range of culinary options," Mbugua said.

"By seamlessly connecting them with popular local businesses like Domino's, we aim to further solidify our position as the go-to platform for convenient food delivery."

Peter Jones, Managing Director of EatnGo Limited, the master franchisee for Domino's Pizza in Kenya, expressed the company's enthusiasm for the collaboration.

"We're excited to leverage the reach of Uber Eats to make our products more accessible to customers in Nairobi and Mombasa," Jones said.

"This partnership allows them to enjoy the Domino's experience of fast and fresh pizza delivery through a familiar and convenient platform."

The collaboration aligns with the findings of Uber's 2023 Year in Review, which highlighted a growing demand for both American and African cuisines among Kenyan consumers.

Domino's established reputation for speed and flavour, coupled with Uber Eats' user-friendly platform, positions this partnership for potential success.

EatnGo Marketing Manager Peris Gitau expressed their excitement at the development saying they were thrilled to offer pizza enthusiasts in these cities greater access to our diverse menu.

She gave a sneak peek of the menu which included classic pizzas to unique Kenyan-inspired toppings disclosing that customers can now enjoy the taste of one of Kenya's leading pizzerias from the comfort of their homes or offices with just a few taps on the Uber Eats app.

Analysts suggest this partnership could significantly reshape the food delivery landscape in Nairobi and Mombasa, offering consumers a wider range of convenient dining options.

While the long-term impact remains to be seen, Domino's and Uber Eats hope the collaboration will cater to the growing demand for quick and convenient food delivery services in Kenya.
