Safaricom has unveiled the 'Gomoka na Go Monthly’ promotion that will see customers spin a wheel and win numerous prizes once they purchase any Go Monthly plans.

Go Monthly plans include enhanced data and minutes plans, as well as All-in-One and Post-Pay with the new promotion scheduled to run from June 19, 2023 to September 18, 2023.

Safaricom also says it has upgraded its monthly All-In-One, Post-Pay and Data Bundles plans in an effort to give customers more data for less in the face of the current harsh economic times.

The 'Gomoka na Go Monthly’ promotion will see the leading telcos reward its customers with daily and monthly cash prizes, with a total of Sh30 million up for grabs in the three months.

The prizes on offer include data bundles, instant M-Pesa cash prizes ranging from Sh250 to Sh10,000 alongside a grand prize of Sh1 million to be won by subscribers every month.

“By offering more data resources as well as attractive minutes plans within the monthly plans combined with the chance to win fantastic cash prizes, we are igniting progress and unlocking boundless possibilities for our valued customers,” said Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa.

He stated, “Through seamless internet access, we are empowering individuals to elevate their livelihoods through the transformative force of online connectivity.”

To take part in the promotion, Safaricom customers have to buy any monthly plan through either the USSD code *544# or the mySafaricom App.

On completing their purchase, customers will be prompted to click a link to the Safaricom App or website where they will have the opportunity to spin the wheel and win instant rewards.

He added, “We understand that our customers are constantly juggling various responsibilities to ensure they progress in life. This promotion allows all our customers, no matter their budget, to buy an all-inclusive bundle that will serve them through the month. Additionally, we understand the need to collectively share the financial burden hence the promo and the rewards.”

The Go Monthly plans have been revamped as follows:

• All in One and Post-Pay packages for Sh1,000 will get 8GB up from 5GB plus 400 minutes, 1,000 SMS and free Whatsapp; Sh2,000 will get 17GB up from 15GB plus 1,000 minutes, 2,000 SMS and free Whatsapp; Sh3,000 will get 27GB up from 25GB plus 1,500 minutes, 5,000 SMS and free Whatsapp.

• Monthly Data plans packages for Sh1,000 now offers 10GB up from 7GB plus free Whatsapp and 22GB up from 20GB plus free Whatsapp for only Sh2,000.

• Monthly Minutes plans include Sh500 for 300 minutes, 500 SMS; Sh1,000 for 800 minutes, 1000 SMS ; Sh2,000 for 1,700 minutes, 5,000 SMS and 3,000 for 2,700 minutes, 5,000 SMS.
