Labour CS Florence Bore has finally moved out of a villa at Amara Ridge in Karen, Nairobi following an ugly public tussle with by Gatanga Member of Parliament Edward Wakili Muriu

Bore moved out of the contentious luxurious house after the management gave her 24 hours to provide proof of ownership or have services disconnected followed by her eviction.

Amara Management Company had written to the CS telling her to avail all the documents of ownership she had claimed to have of Villa 6 claimed by Gatanga MP Edward Wakili Muriu.

The company that manages Amara Ridge had indicated that it had written to the besieged CS after a complaint by the UDA MP, who accused her of occupying the house unlawfully.

“We have received a complaint from the owner of Villa 6, that the villa is currently being occupied without authorisation and that we should proceed to withhold all services to the villa, including access,” read the statement from Amara Management Company.

The firm says a homeowners’ meeting on Monday resolved that she must provide either the executed sale agreement, executed lease agreement or any other documentation granting her access to Villa 6.

“The villa owner, as per our records, contends that he has never granted any access to the current occupant(s),” went on the statement.

In that regard, the management company gave Bore 24 hours to provide the requested documents or services to the villa will be disconnected and her house access discontinued.

“Please note that failure to provide the information shall sanction the disconnection of all services currently being enjoyed by yourselves whilst occupying the villa.

“Further, your entry, both into the villa, and the property at large, shall be denied.”

Amara Management Company had warned the CS that failure to provide the documents within 24 hours would result into her eventual eviction from the property which is being claimed by Wakili Muriu.

“As you can appreciate, we are a community that enjoys peace and calm, and would not wish to subject our members to the events that culminated to this demand,” the letter concluded signed by Amara Manco Representative and Treasurer Edwin Dande.

In a tweet at 2:43pm, Dande confirmed that indeed CS Bore had vacated the house ending the ugly confrontation between the Kenya Kwanza CS and the ruling UDA party MP in Karen.

“Wisdom finally prevailed at Amara Ridge. The CS has vacated the villa. No more gunfights,” Dande tweeted.
