Ogilvy Africa has appointed George Ojing as the New Managing Partner for its Kenyan agency.

He will lead the agency’s mandate of a considerable number of investments under its umbrella managed from Nairobi offices.


Ojing previously run a flourishing consulting firm which he founded and was the CEO.

The firm advised MSMEs and Development Partners on their digital and marketing remodelling objectives.

Ojing has a wealth of experience in marketing and has held various portfolios: Business Development, Account Management, Media Planning, Business Development, Strategy and Management.

While receiving Ojing back to Ogilvy, the CEO of Ogilvy Africa, Vikas Mehta, said Ojing’s skills he acquired over time would be an asset to their agency in Kenya.

"During his years away from Ogilvy, George has gained new skills and a sharp local perspective. He's a grown-up who's seen various industries and managed companies through various business cycles," Mehta said.

Ojing on his part expressed his excitement in joining Ogilvy, hoping to people-first approach to leadership and passion for moulding future marketers will enable the agency to deliver impactful growth to their clients.

Ojing is a Bachelor of Arts in Design degree holder from The University of Nairobi. He also studied at Strathmore Business School.
