Before that fateful day he was just Brad Osumo, a regular Kenyan trying to eke a living.

However, one memorable tweet that he posted exactly one year ago today changed the trajectory of his like alongside that of his sisters and the now popular fish hotel they operate.

That one tweet Osumo posted on December 21, 2019 turned their small fish place into a popular fish-eating joint that every Nairobi fish lover wants to be seen at and associated with.

The simple but lifechanging tweet that went viral on that day read, “oyaa si mkuje kibanda mkule fish ama mnipe order.0715148388. Retweet lovers of fish might be on your tl.”

One year later and an emotional Osumo marked the day by thanking all those who have visited Big Fish hotel located off Thika Road at Roasters area right opposite Ruaraka Methodist Church.

“Today marks exactly 1yr since i asked y'all to hit me up!!. All i can say is that you came through for me in ways i can't explain,” he tweeted.

He added, “Thank you for all those we've served from twitter, for all the people you reffered,we are not yet perfect.Looking forward to serving you better❤❤.”

Osumo is now a big fish in the scene and a fish-mongering celebrity with the Big Fish hotel he runs with his two sisters becoming the talk of the town and even featuring in a Safaricom advert.

He mainly handles social media for the fast-growing brand as well as the overwhelming mobile and online orders and deliveries that is pushing the hotel from raking in thousands to hundreds of thousands of shillings and to greater heights.
