OPPO Kenya has officially launched the Reno13 series, a smartphone lineup designed for enhanced photography, performance, and durability.

Available in Plum Purple, Graphite Grey, and Skyline Blue, the Reno13 series maintains OPPO’s signature Urban Avant-Garde Aesthetic while integrating powerful AI-driven features.

AI-driven photography and editing tools

According to Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager at OPPO Kenya, the Reno13 series is designed as an “AI imaging expert” with features such as AI Livephoto and AI Clarity Enhancer.

"Offering incredible underwater photography enabled by IP66 / IP68 / IP69 Water and Dust Resistance, a large 5,800mAh battery built to last for over four years, an AI Multi-Cooling System, and AI HyperBoost technology," Achienga stated.

"This device is built to experience each adventure with you from the workplace to outdoor activities,” she said.

For content creators and photography enthusiasts, the device includes AI-powered post-processing tools.

Users can remove reflections, sharpen blurry images, and erase unwanted objects with AI Editor, while AI Studio introduces new creative options like transforming still images into three-second motion clips or generating group portraits in artistic styles.

The Reno13 F 5G enhances mobile photography with its Ultra-Clear Camera System, featuring a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

Selfie enthusiasts will benefit from a 32MP front camera designed to deliver crisp and detailed shots.

With an industry-leading IP69 rating, the Reno13 series is built to withstand harsh conditions, including submersion in water up to two metres deep for 30 minutes.

A dedicated underwater mode optimises colour accuracy and ensures effortless control through physical buttons, enabling users to capture high-quality shots even in aquatic environments.

Performance and gaming enhancements

The Reno13 F 5G is powered by the Snapdragon® 6 Gen 1 Mobile Platform, featuring an 8-core processor that supports efficient multitasking and smooth gaming.

OPPO’s AI HyperBoost technology enhances gaming performance by stabilising frame rates, ensuring a seamless experience in popular titles.

Additionally, the TÜV SÜD Lag-Free Mobile Gaming Rating S certification highlights the device’s commitment to fluid gameplay.

To prevent overheating during prolonged gaming sessions, the Reno13 F 5G integrates an advanced VC cooling system, keeping the device at an optimal temperature for sustained performance.

Despite its lightweight 192g design, the Reno13 F 5G houses a 5,800mAh battery, OPPO’s largest in the Reno series.

The phone supports 45W SUPERVOOC™ Flash Charge, enabling rapid power replenishment in just a few minutes.

A 120Hz Smart Adaptive Screen ensures a responsive and immersive viewing experience, while a low-blue-light hardware solution minimises eye strain during extended usage.
