Xiaomi has officially launched its new Redmi Note 13 Series during a colourful ceremony held in Nairobi, Kenya on Friday.
The new Redmi Note 13 Series features three smartphone devices that are upgrades of the popular Redmi Note range: Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13.
The series has seen Xiaomi upgrade its camera system, design, display and processor to close the gap between mid-range and flagship-level smartphones enhancing the user experience.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro both pack an ultra-high resolution 200MP camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) for enhanced photo details.
2x/4x lossless zoom allows the user to take more detailed close-ups from far with their advanced camera systems backed by a large 1/1.4" sensor and better image processing.
This sensor, a super-large f/1.65 aperture, and Tetra2 pixel with advanced pixel-binning technology deliver clearer and brighter photographs even in poor lighting environments.
Their 7P lens feature with Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) reduces flare and ghosting.
Similarly, the base model, Redmi Note 13, comes equipped with a 108MP main camera with 3x lossless zoom which delivers incredible images with finer details.
The new devices come with a variety of filmCamera filters to customize your photos.
All the devices come with a triple camera setup consisting of a 200MP or 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, as well as a 16MP selfie camera, and are supported by Xiaomi Imaging Engine.
Redmi Note 13 Series has a chic new design and ultra-slim bezels that gives the three devices a premium feel with its high-quality display allowing for a more immersive viewing.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes with a 1.5K AMOLED display and 1800 nits peak brightness, while Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 feature a super-clear FHD+ AMOLED display.
Each Redmi Note 13 Series device has silky-smooth scrolling without lag due to their 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate for smoother, clearer, and more enjoyable viewing experiences.
Redmi Note 13 Series devices also have TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly certifications, and don various eye protection features.
Other upgrades of the devices in the new devices feature the first addition of a convenient in-screen fingerprint sensor1 in the series.
Redmi Note 13 Series has seen Xiaomi use engineering and design upgrades to improve the durability and toughness of the new devices.
The display unveils Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® to the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G for extra resistance to accidental drops and scratches.
The display on all the devices in the series have also been optimized further to be more responsive and accurate to touch input, even when in the rain.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G secures is inarguably the star model of the series with its advanced structure and an IP68 dust and water resistance certification2, as the other models are upgraded to offer IP54 dust and splash resistance3.
All Redmi Note 13 Series models come with an in-box charger4 added to a new 4nm process for a more improved performance.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, a 5,000mAh battery and a 120W HyperCharge, which charges your Redmi Note to 100 per cent in just 19 minutes.
Redmi Note 13 Pro comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and offers a 67W turbo charging, which takes 45 minutes to charge to 100 per cent.
