Global influencer marketing platform indaHash has appointed former WPP-Scangroup executive Francis Karugah to head its operations in Kenya as it eyes the regional market.
Karugah alias Media MK has more than 14 years of experience in influencer marketing strategies and is expected to steer the platform’s growth in the vibrant Kenyan market.
Joining him in the Nairobi office are seasoned influencer marketers Caleb Ochenge and Judith Ochieng who have been pivotal in the influencer marketing space in East Africa.
The move by indaHash, which is part of the ArabyAds Group, is part of its efforts to cement its presence in the regional market after making entering the South African market in 2017.
In the local scene, the platform has executed campaigns for major brands like Carrefour, Mastercard and Kenya Airways and seeks to expand its bite on the local influencer cake.

The firm established in 2016 operates in 115 markets and boasts of conducting successful campaigns for more than 600 brands with a network of more than one million influencers.

The platform works with creators from diverse backgrounds including mid-tier, top-tier, micro-influencers and nano-influencers to cater to various campaign needs and budgets.
