Oppo’s Reno5 smartphone has been selected as the official smartphone partner for the PUBG Mobile Middle East and Africa Esports 2021.

Oppo announced on Tuesday that Reno5 was chosen for its extraordinary gaming hardware and software which it says delivers an exceptionally immersive and fluid gaming experience.

Global market research firm, YouGov Mena, revealed that the Middle East is home to the fastest growing online gaming population globally with a growth rate of 25 per cent.

The report also said the region’s gaming community is the most engaged and shows a passion for adventure and is reflected by Oppo Reno series’ targeted young creators.

Oppo said it will play a key role in the company’s Esports championships to run throughout 2021, as the official smartphone partner of PUBG Mobile Esports in Middle East and Africa.

The firm based in China said the partnership with PUBG Mobile will see them develop regional talents and build a clear structure for Esports from amateur to pro-league levels.
