Amos Butit, a businessman based in Eldoret, emerged as the overall winner of the second leg of the KCB East Africa Golf Tour held at the Eldoret Golf Club on Saturday evening.
Despite the heavy downpour that made it difficult for players to navigate the course, Butit, who has a handicap of 18, carded 40 stableford points to beat 112 players.
Speaking after his win, Butit expressed his appreciation to his team, who were not only competitive but also encouraging. He also stated that the win had given him more reason to play golf and he looked forward to future tournaments.
