Two Rivers Mall has penned a lucrative partnership with Kenya Premier League 19-time winners Gor Mahia ahead of the season kick off.

The deal between the mall built and operated by Centum Investment will see K’Ogalo train at the mall’s Sports District ground for this season.

Billionaire businessman Chris Kirubi, who owns the majority stakes in Centum Investment, was also present during the ceremony alongside Centum CEO James Mworia.

Speaking during the signing of the deal, ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga appealed to more companies to come in and support local sports clubs.

“I urge more corporate entities to support local sports teams, especially community clubs,” said Raila.

Gor Mahia is Kenya’s 2020/21 Caf Champions League representative.

League organisers, Football Kenya Federation (FKF), announced the 2020/2021 season will kick off in November with fixtures expected out on Wednesday.
