Two of the three suspects who had been linked to the bloody Westgate Mall attack in 2013 have been found guilty of conspiracy to commit a terrorist act by a court in Nairobi.
Mohamed Abdul and Hussein Mustafa were found guilty of the horrific terror attack at the Mall located in Westlands.
However, a third suspect, Liban Abdullah Omar, was acquitted of the offence for lack of evidence after the trial that dragged over seven years.
Liban, a Somali refugee who was found with a Kenyan Identity Card, was acquitted of the charge of being in Kenya illegally and obtaining a document by false pretense.
Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi ruled that the authorities were to blame for facilitating him to acquire an ID card following his application.
