Dr Leah Kirumbi has been appointed as the Chief Medical Advisor for iZola, a pioneering health-tech startup that provides solutions for parents of neurodivergent children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Dr Kirumbi is renowned for her contributions to maternal and child healthcare, including performing Kenya’s first in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure in 2004.

With over 30 years of experience in maternal and child health and policy development across East Africa, Dr. Kirumbi brings a wealth of professional expertise to her new role at iZola.

She also has over 40 years of personal experience as a mother and primary caregiver to a neurodivergent dependent, offering a unique perspective that combines professional excellence with deep personal commitment.
