Speculations and rumors still continue to dominate the mainstream and social media spheres on the whereabouts and health of John Magufuli, the president of Tanzania, who has been missing in action for weeks now.
A section of the Kenyan and international media have in the past week reported that an East African high ranking leader had allegedly flown into Nairobi and was admitted at the Nairobi Hospital.
The reports also at some point also said the unnamed leader, who was not in good shape, had been flown out to India for further specialised treatment, with exiled Tanzanian opposition leader Tundu Lissu laying credence to the allegations without evidence.
President Magufuli has not been seen in public since February 27, amid concerns and speculations that he had contracted the dreaded Covid-19 even as the Tanzanian government has opted to remain mum on the matter amid rising public concern.
Magufuli has on many ocassions trashed the existence of the pandemic in his country, declaring it Coronavirus-Free mid last year and has not be making public reported cases and any data on infections in the East African nation.

However, days before he fell off the public eye, the president seemingly accepted that Covid-19 was ravaging the country and urged citizens to wear masks and manitain social distancing, even as he raised issue with foreign vaccines to be imported to the country.
So, the question everybody is asking is, where is President John Pombe Magufuli?
