Detectives have made a significant breakthrough in the investigation into the murder of Eric Maigo, the Finance Director of Nairobi Hospital, by apprehending the prime suspect, a 16-year-old juvenile.

The arrest took place in the Olympic Village within the expansive Kibera slums following a tip received through the #FichuakwaDCI hotline.

The suspect was taken into custody last night, and without delay, she was transported to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters for questioning.

Subsequently, she was officially booked at the Muthaiga police station.
