In a significant breakthrough, law enforcement officials have apprehended the prime suspect in the murder of a man during a robbery at a local cyber shop earlier this month.

Among the confiscated items were two motorcycles with registration numbers KMGE 652Q and KMFM 231D, a cache of assorted mobile phones and household appliances, National ID cards, as well as various tools of criminality such as two pangas, steel cutters, several spanners, a printer, a projector, and screwdrivers, among other items.

Odhiambo is currently in police custody and has been booked at Yala police station.

He is set to face legal proceedings as the investigation continues to gather momentum.

Authorities are diligently pursuing leads to identify and apprehend his alleged accomplices, as well as to recover the firearms believed to be unlawfully held by the gang.
