Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi had challenged public servants in the different ministries, departments and agencies to collaborate more to tackle challenges they face.

Mudavadi says the whole-of-government-approach can only be achieved if public servants across the different ministries, departments and agencies issues facing them across board.

“We need to have harmonious working relationships across all the departments and agencies of government,” said Mudavadi.

He spoke at a meeting with PSs from all ministries and chairpersons and vice chairpersons of the five sectors of the National Development Implementation Committee (NDIC) in Nairobi.

Mudavadi affirmed the government’s pledge to deliver services to Kenyans and asked the PSs to align their projects to the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

“As senior ranks of the executive you need to identify key priority projects, programmes and policies and align them to the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA),” Mudavadi urged.

He warned the top government officers that Kenya Kwanza government risks losing public goodwill if they fail to help President William Ruto to deliver on his pledges to Kenyans.

“We are at the service of Kenyans and all we need to do is support the government development projects, programmes and policies throughout the delivery cycle,” he said.

The meeting came after the Ruto warned senior government officials against making too many foreign trips and being aloof about the projects being implemented in their dockets.
