The Azimio-One Kenya coalition party and the Kenya Kwanza committee members engaged in bipartisan talks have been unable to reach an agreement on the inclusion of certain members in their respective teams.
During the inaugural meeting between the two groups, members of Azimio objected to the inclusion of Eldas MP Adan Keynan, while the Kenya Kwanza team insisted that Pokot South MP David Pkosing be removed from the Azimio team.
Minority Lader in Parliament Opiyo Wandayi highlighted Azimio's concern and said Keynan was a member of the Jubilee Party which is constituent of Azimio Coalition.

"We have got one sticking issue that needs to be resolved. In our engagement this morning we raised the issue of the inclusion of Eldas MP Adan Keynan as a member of Kenya Kwanza negotiating team," Wandayi said.
"Our objection was premised on the fact that he is a member of Jubilee party which is a constituent party of Azimio."
Kenya Kwanza, on the other hand, claimed that P'Kosing, who was elected on a KUP ticket, is a member of Kenya Kwanza because his party leader, John Lonyangapuo, signed a post-election pact with Kenya Kwanza.
"They have also raised an issue about our inclusion of David P'Kosing as a member of our team on grounds that his KUP party leader John Lonyangapuo has entered into some arrangement with Kenya Kwanza," Wandayi added.
As bipartisan talks continue, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah, who is part of the Kenya Kwanza team, confirmed that the matter had been referred to coalition leaders of both sides for resolution.
"We appreciate that the composition of both teams was arrived at following engagement of party leadership of both coalitions. This is not an issue we can ably resolve that's why we have referred to our party leaders for resolutions and respective party organs," Ichung'wah said.
However, both teams have agreed to allow the talks to proceed while the impasse is being resolved.
